Hawksbill turtle

- Lifespan: - Between 80 - 100 years
- They lay between 100 - 180 eggs at a time.
- This species of turtle is also known as the husk turtle.
- Once grown, these turtles weigh about 50 pounds [50 kg] and grow to about 90 inches [90 cm] in length.
- They are usually yellowish brown, and the scalp lies on top of each other except in the elderly.
- They live on reefs in coastal areas near the equator.
- Are often carnivorous. Eats jellyfish, sea mushrooms, oysters, crustaceans.
- They are threatened with extinction due to killing for the turtle bark industry.
