Stokes Sea Snake

1. Inhabited Areas: - North, South, West and Northwest Coastal Seas and Deep Seas of Sri Lanka
2. Length: - 40 inches
3. Food: - Seabed plant food and small fish
4. Threats: - Caught in fishermen's nets. 

• It produces about 12 pups at a time.
• In addition to Sri Lanka, it has been found in India, Thailand, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Australia and the Gulf Coast.
