  1. Living Areas: Lowland Dry Zone, Intermediate Zone
  2. Length: 3-4 feet.
  3. Number of white stripe pairs: 40-45.
  4. Hiding during the day: Hidden in decaying bark, boulders, piles of rocks, dry grass, wood piles as well as loose sandy soil.
  5. Number of eggs laid at a time: Lays between 5-10. 
  6. Staple food: small snakes, lizards, rats and squirrels
  7. Indian krait blue krait are more likely to cause death within 12 hours.
